Operation Gothic Serpent Memorial Collection

It is known to most Americans as the battle immortalized in the 2001 film, “Black Hawk Down,” but to our military service members and veterans, it is known as the Battle of Mogadishu. Taking place over two days and a full night of harrowing fighting, on October 3-4, 1993, it is one of the most famous U.S. military engagements since World War II. The toll that this battle took on our nation was heavy: 19 U.S. service members killed, 73 wounded, 2 Black Hawk helicopters downed, and 1 U.S. POW.

TruPatriot would like to recognize and honor the sacrifices made by the members of Task Force Ranger over those two bloody days in Mogadishu, and how they upheld U.S. military traditions of honor and valor.

We shall never forget.
